Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently looking for an EHS Associate – China, Taiwan & Hong Kong on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at its Red-on-line business. This is a UK-based role, supporting EHS compliance coverage for the China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong regions. Red-on-line is a fast-growing global EHS solutions provider, delivering EHS compliance management solutions across more than 90 countries and in 17 languages.
As EHS Associate – China, Taiwan & Hong Kong, you will be a key player in the Red-on-line Content and Compliance team, based in the UK and supporting regulatory content for the Greater China region. You will contribute to a variety of operational and research-focused activities, while developing your expertise in international EHS legislation and structured compliance content.
Key Accountabilities
- The role is primarily administrative and operational, with a strong focus on research, structured data management, content editing, and legal database maintenance related to EHS legislation in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
- Legal Watch and Research
- Monitoring EHS regulatory updates on a daily basis for China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong using company-approved sources.
- Identifying regulatory changes relevant to Red-on-line’s multinational client portfolio.
- Conducting structured research and extracting key regulatory information for internal use.
- Summarising legislative changes in clear, non-legal language using internal templates.
- Publishing weekly legislative alerts through the company’s compliance software.
- Updating the company’s legal database to reflect regulatory developments in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
- Editing, adding, and maintaining legal content in line with internal quality standards.
- Updating client onboarding questionnaires following regulatory changes.
- Maintaining client legal registers for the assigned regions.
- Managing structured regulatory data with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
- Performing detailed Excel work, including data validation and formatting.
- Importing and exporting data using back-office systems.
- Preparing tables, charts, or images as supporting content.
- Performing quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Organising and maintaining documentation and audit trails.
- Liaising with UK-based and international Content Support and Content Editor teams.
- Following documented workflows and administrative procedures.
- Supporting internal process improvement and content optimisation initiatives.
About you
- Native Chinese language proficiency.
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- Strong research and information-gathering skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive administrative tasks accurately.
- Strong organisational skills and confidence working with structured databases.
- Proficiency in Excel and document management tools.
- Ability to follow defined processes and work within global content systems.
- Understanding of EHS legislation in China.
- Knowledge of EHS legislation in Taiwan and Hong Kong is an advantage.
- Third-level qualification in environmental law, environmental science, health and safety, or a related discipline.
