Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is currently looking for a Consultancy Analytics Manager on a permanent contract to strengthen the team at its Barbour ABI business. Barbour ABI powers the UK built environment with the best intelligence to help our clients grow. Best known for our construction project leads, our portfolio includes analytics, market research reports and bespoke consultancy. With over 1.7 million projects in our dataset, our products and services are renowned for their accuracy, depth, and efficacy. The role will be based in a dynamic and nimble SME, backed by the growth plans and structure of a global business, Infopro Digital. The consultancy division works remotely but requires attendance at a monthly team meeting at our offices in Cheshire Oaks (near Chester).

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver research projects including market sizing, scoping and growth strategy. These require a blend of primary and secondary research techniques for data gathering and analysis and studies on company and product information.
  • Develop new analytical approaches to improve existing processes and enhance the team's capabilities, this often requires lateral thinking to create and test data sets.
  • Lead research projects from start to finish. This includes client briefings, managing research and communicating regularly with the client.
  • Balance work across multiple projects and clients; experience of project management is key.
  • Ensure work is delivered to a high standard and within agreed timescales.

Requirements

  • Expertise in data analysis; including data processing, model build, dashboard creation and analytics.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insight that responds to a client's need.
  • End-to-end management of research studies, including the use of proprietary market intelligence datasets and desk-based research using published data and statistics such as company data and official statistics.
  • Experience of working with both Quantitative and Qualitative research methodologies.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • A curious and innovative mindset, with the ability to think independently about an analytical challenge and develop new solutions.
  • Degree-level education in a related field such as Business, Economics, Politics or Geography (Masters level education desirable but not essential) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau/PowerBI and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Built environment/construction sector experience (desirable but not essential).
