Responsibilities
- Design and implement network solutions in support of the Migration of Applications, 3rd party network connectivity and Network Services.
- Analyze networks and define solutions/Migration Paths in detail.
- Work with other technicians and users to deliver excellent services.
- Keep up to date with network technology.
- Work with Migration Factory Network Team globally to identify best practices.
Your team: You will be working in the Migration Factory Network team. We provide planning, building and Migration support for Applications and Services on the client network. You will work with engineers and support teams to analyze the current environment, prepare detailed designs for the migration of Services and Applications, and then implement these designs in our Data Centers.
A natural ability to solve complex issues.
Experience in analysing network environments and identifying migration strategies.
Creation and management of network service support documents and run books.
Incident and problem management - Issue analysis, troubleshooting and resolution, root cause analysis, logging and trending.
Designed and implemented networks based on modern technologies that include Arista, Juniper, Cisco, F5, Citrix.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex data network security issues, relating to applications supporting internal, external third party and Internet facing clients.
Banking and financial services experience.
The ability to liaise with carriers, vendors and internal departments.
5-10 Years' Experience working in a network implementation role.
Security: Firewall: Juniper SSG/ISG and JUNOS SRX, Screenos. Routing and Switching: Cisco (all flavors) and Juniper (EX, MX & QFX), Arista. Load Balancing: F5 LTM/GTM & Citrix NetScaler's/GSLB. Proxy: McAfee. Protocols: BGP, OSPF, GLBP, HSRP, Multicast, VXLAN. Tools: Wireshark, SevOne.
What you are:
- Strong knowledge of Security technologies such as Juniper Firewall, Proxy.
- Excellent knowledge of Arista/Cisco Router technology and services/protocols.
- Experience with Load Balancing such as F5 LTM/GTM, Citrix Netscaler/GSLB.
- A confident communicator who can explain technology to non-technical audiences.
- Resolute and determined.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
