Role Description: A ServiceNow Platform Administrator is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimising the ServiceNow platform to ensure smooth operations and alignment with organisational needs. This role involves technical expertise, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification
- Experience working with ServiceNow domains
- SC cleared or eligibility to get it
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Monitor platform health and performance; apply patches and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, escalating to ServiceNow support when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with organisational standards and security policies.
- Configure ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog).
- Develop workflows, forms, and scripts to automate processes.
- Manage notifications, UI pages, and dashboards.
- Create and manage user roles, groups, and ACLs.
- Maintain CMDB health and data integrity.
- Implement ITIL best practices for service management.
- Analyse current processes and propose automation opportunities.
- Support agile development and iterative enhancements.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
Additional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Core and Platform modules.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and scripting for ServiceNow customisation.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM project management methodologies.
- Experience with workflow design, integrations, and performance tuning.
- Certifications such as ServiceNow System Administrator and ITIL Foundation are highly desirable.
- At least 4 to 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and development experience.
- Exposure to incident/problem/change management and service catalog development.
- Background in troubleshooting and optimising workflows and scripts.
- Gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain application integration with any third-party applications.
- Provides external client-facing consulting services within a technology-focused practice.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom code for all ServiceNow modules.
- Demonstrated knowledge of core ITIL processes (CMDB, Incident, Problem, and Change).
- Hands-on experience on modules like ITSM, ITOM, TPRM, Service Portal and Scoped applications.
- Strong process management & project management skills.
