Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end GIS solutions leveraging the Esri ArcGIS ecosystem (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Portal/AGOL, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, Geodatabases).
- Design scalable enterprise GIS architectures preferably Azure cloud.
- Lead solution blueprinting, conceptual design, logical/physical architecture, network topology, and integration models.
- Design and implement ArcGIS Utility Network for water networks with Esri Utility Network Expertise.
- Knowledge about ArcGIS product suite: ArcGIS REST API, Python/ArcPy, Web GIS applications, Feature services, map services, geoprocessing services, Cloud, DevOps & Security.
- Support deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise on cloud platforms using CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement identity integration (ADFS, SAML, OAuth), role-based access, and high-availability setups.
- Guide containerization, automation, scaling, and performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud-native deployments and scalable architectures.
- Ability to create architecture diagrams, solution patterns, and system roadmaps.
- Experience with TOGAF or other architecture frameworks (preferred).
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, security, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Work closely with business teams, enterprise architects, SMEs, and Esri consultants.
- Conduct workshops, technical presentations, and solution walkthroughs.
Your Profile
- 8+ years of experience.
- Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro).
- Experience with Utility Network Model (UNM) and advanced GIS workflows.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python, and web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks).
- Knowledge of geodatabase design, SQL, and spatial analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud GIS deployments (Azure/AWS) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with TOGAF or other architecture frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience
- Water Utilities and other utilities experience.
- Esri certifications (Web Application Developer, Enterprise Administration).
- Knowledge of data migration and integration with enterprise systems.
