Job Description:

  • Pre-task planning
  • Creating robust test plans (DVP) for validating systems and components.
  • Performing routine quality control tests, test equipment, and analysing data to understand variance.
  • Testing various types of test rigs, including those for e-drive and ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) systems.
  • Understanding test processes and equipment, ensuring robust process quality planning, and supporting virtual and physical builds.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and understanding automotive communication protocols.
  • Potentially working with advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues, proposing solutions, and participating in issue resolution.
  • Working effectively in a cross-functional team, collaborating with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrating a strong technical background, understanding of engine engineering, and experience with quality tools.
  • Problem-solving skills using 8D.
  • Knowledge on calibration tools like INCA/Concerto/Puma/MDA.
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
  • Propulsion and vehicle calibration and diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and present findings.
  • Good knowledge on MHEV/BEV systems architecture.
  • Good in MHEV and BEV DVP test plans (DVP) creation for validating systems and components.
