Key Responsibilities:

  • KVM Administration: Manage and maintain KVM-based virtualization environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtual machines. Optimize KVM performance and ensure high availability of virtualized infrastructure. Implement security best practices for KVM environments.
  • OpenShift Administration: Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift workloads, ensuring high availability and performance. Manage OpenShift networking, storage, and security configurations. Perform upgrades and patching of OpenShift clusters and associated components.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions for KVM and OpenShift environments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations for resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications. Document infrastructure designs, processes, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
