Roles and responsibilities:
- Experienced SAP Solution Architect with strong knowledge across SAP modules - FI, MM, SD, Logistics, CAR, BW.
- Experience of Boots systems preferable.
- Proven ability to operate independently and with minimal oversight, and to drive solutions to handover into delivery teams.
- Confident to engage positively with senior business colleagues, other Solution- and Enterprise Architects, colleagues in other IT Teams and SAP CoE teammates.
- Possessing a clear understanding of how to present options and recommendations, and an appreciation of what different audiences need from such presentations.
- Design and develop SAP architectural flows that align with business requirements.
- Lead the implementation of complex SAP projects, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Serve as single point of contact for the SAP Solution Architectural queries and solutions.
- Provide expert guidance to the project team and stakeholders on SAP best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that enhance the organisations capabilities.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.
- Liaising and developing relationships with cross functional teams.
Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities:
- Responsible to design and develop SAP Solution Architecture and provide guidance to the team ensuring the seamless integration, quality etc.
- Regular review of design, build delivery and ensure the solution built is in line with the overall integration architecture.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and align SAP solutions with organisational goals.
Core skills:
- Knowledge and experience of delivering SAP projects.
- Deeper technical knowledge in SAP modules SAP FI, SAP MM, SAP BW etc.
- Experience of managing key stakeholders.
- Effective communication and influencing skills.
- Be able to present difficult technical situations in a way that is understandable for non-technical people.
