We are seeking an experienced Network Security Architect to assist with security deployments and infrastructure design across enterprise environments. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and supporting modern network security architectures, with a strong emphasis on Zero Trust principles, cloud security, and automation-driven deployments. We are seeking a candidate with a large breadth of knowledge within the enterprise environment and understanding of end-to-end solutions including some understanding outside the network/security space.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, Routing and switching in an enterprise environment, Palo Alto, Check Point and NSXT, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GitLab and Terraform, along with the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, infrastructure, and DevSecOps teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and support enterprise-scale network security architectures
- Assist with security deployments and infrastructure design, from concept through implementation
- Architect and implement Zero Trust security models aligned with best practices
- Lead and support projects leveraging Zscaler technologies for secure access and cloud security
- Design and secure hybrid and cloud-based environments, with a focus on GCP
- Implement and manage network security solutions using Palo Alto, Check Point and NSX firewalls
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to embed security into system designs
- Support and review and assist in CI/CD-driven deployments using GitLab
- Read, understand, and review deployment code and automation scripts to ensure secure implementation
- Produce architectural documentation, standards, and design artefacts
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple projects
- Proven experience as a Network Security Architect or Senior Network Security Engineer/DevOps
- Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, or similar), Routing and Switching
- Deep understanding and implementation experience of Zero Trust architectures
- Experience designing and securing environments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong expertise with Palo Alto, Check Point and NSXT firewall technologies
- Solid knowledge of network security fundamentals (segmentation, access control, threat prevention)
- Experience working with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to understand and review code used for infrastructure and security deployments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Exposure to DevSecOps and security automation practices
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
