The role ensures accurate product modelling, rating logic implementation, and seamless integration with Policy Administration Systems (PAS), supporting end-to-end product life cycle delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Product Configuration & Development: Configure and develop insurance products using Polaris Product Writer, including Skeleton Schemes, RTE (Real Time Engine), and XRTE modules.
- Build and maintain product rules, rating logic, and underwriting workflows.
- Implement product changes across versions ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Testing & Quality Assurance Support: Collaborate with testing teams for SIT, UAT, and E2E validation.
- Support defect resolution and participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Ensure product configurations meet functional and business requirements.
- Data & Configuration Management: Prepare and manage product configuration data.
- Maintain documentation of product configurations and changes.
- Strong hands-on experience in Polaris Product Writer (Development/Configuration).
- Deep understanding of insurance product modelling, rating & pricing logic, and policy life cycle processes.
- Experience with RTE/XRTE configurations, PAS integrations, and SOAP/API-based integrations.
