We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. You need to have good hands-on experience in maintaining CI/CD pipelines using standard tools.
Your responsibilities:
- Operational activities like developing and executing automated tests.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization for both containers and VMs in OpenShift.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium, JMeter, and Postman to ensure application quality and performance.
- Orchestrate and manage workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift using CLI tools.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot virtual machines and workloads in OpenShift Virtualization (OCPV).
- Automate VM lifecycle operations (provisioning, scaling, migration, backup, and recovery) within OCPV.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to integrate testing, deployment, and virtualization processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD, testing, container, and virtualization environments.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices for both container and VM workloads.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience/Personal attributes:
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitLab CI for continuous integration and delivery.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools: Selenium (UI testing), JMeter (performance testing), and Postman (API testing).
- Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift CLI for container orchestration and management.
- Practical knowledge of OpenShift Virtualization (OCPV) for VM deployment, migration, and management.
- Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of hybrid cloud concepts and integrating VMs with containerized workloads.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
