Role description: The Technical Consultant EUC Infrastructure will play a pivotal role in designing, analysing, and optimising end-user computing environments with a strong focus on persona-based strategies. This includes capturing deep device insights, performing detailed persona fitment analysis, developing EUC strategies, and shaping future-state infrastructure architectures. The consultant will also work closely with business stakeholders to influence strategy, drive organisational change, and ensure the end-user environment is aligned to business goals and productivity needs.
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- End-user computing (EUC) and end-user devices (EUD): Laptops, desktops, tablets, mobiles, rugged devices, PDAs and any unidentified or unclassified end-user devices discovered during the engagement
- Software/service dependencies (e.g., collaboration tools, VPN access, enterprise apps and more).
- Data Collection: Interviews, surveys, analytics, and system logs for usage patterns.
- Persona Development: Creation of adequate actionable personas with journey maps and pain points.
- Device Analysis: Inventory review, usage analysis, and consolidation opportunities.
- License Optimisation: Review of Microsoft 365 license usage, identification of underutilisation, and cost-saving recommendations

Key responsibilities:
- Capture, analyse, and interpret device insights (performance metrics, utilisation patterns, application usage, connected peripherals, etc.) to understand user behaviour and requirements.
- Conduct persona fitment analysis to map users to the right devices, tools, and technology stacks based on their day-to-day tasks and usage patterns.
- Perform deep analysis of device usage to identify optimisation opportunities, including performance enhancements, device right-sizing, and lifecycle improvements.
- Develop and refine persona classification models, ensuring that personas accurately reflect user needs and support business goals.
