Python/PySpark and Scala Developer in Borehamwood

Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of payment processing workflows, especially H2H and SWIFT
• Hands-on experience with legacy formats (IDOC, EDIFACT) as well as ISO 20022 and GFF
• Ability to interpret and translate complex file specifications and payment instructions
• Strong analytical skills for field-by-field mapping between client files and internal standard formats
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed mapping requirement documents and data dictionaries
• Familiarity with structured and hybrid address fields, and compliance requirements (e.g., CBPR)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant business & technical analysis experience in Payments
• Graduate in any Computer Science stream
• Proven capability of applying project management methodology for complex implementations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to map and document progress of complex workflows
• Technical experience with transmissions, ERPs (technical roles), and file formats
• Knowledge and experience with IDOC, EDIFACT, ISO 20022, and EDI message formats
