We are seeking an experienced Governance, Risk & Dependency Manager to join a Portfolio Management Function supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes. This is a critical role responsible for governance oversight, RAIDO management, assurance activities, escalation processes, and dependency management across complex multi-supplier environments.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, programme leadership teams, suppliers, and governance boards to ensure effective portfolio controls and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage portfolio governance frameworks and reporting processes.
- Lead RAIDO (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Opportunities) management across multiple programmes.
- Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and executive reporting.
- Manage cross-programme and cross-supplier dependencies and escalation processes.
- Support portfolio assurance activities and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain governance dashboards, reporting packs, and management information.
- Ensure timely identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and issues.
- Collaborate with programme managers, PMOs, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to maintain delivery confidence.
- Drive continuous improvement of governance processes and reporting automation.
- 10+ years' experience in Governance, PMO Leadership, Portfolio Governance, or Programme Controls roles.
- Proven experience managing governance within large-scale digital transformation programmes.
- Strong background in multi-supplier delivery environments.
- Experience facilitating executive governance forums and steering committees.
- Demonstrable ownership of RAIDO processes and portfolio controls.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
