We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our cutting-edge Automotive software solutions to new customers and existing clients in the sub-region (United Kingdom, Ireland, and Nordics (SWE/NOR/FIN/DEN) region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, business development, and account management in the automotive/SaaS industry, as well as a deep understanding of the sub-region.
This is a full-time role and requires regular travel within the UK and Nordics and occasional travel elsewhere in Europe. As we are a global business, flexibility occasionally outside of standard office hours will be needed as required to communicate with colleagues in Australia and the US.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Create and qualify new leads/prospects for our products in the sub-region.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive industry in the sub-region including OEMs, major dealer groups, dealer councils, DMS and other third parties.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive the sales cycle from initial customer engagement to signed contract.
- Maintain accurate prospect and sales pipeline data within Salesforce and support the leadership team with any requested management information.
- Conduct market research to stay up to date on industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales, product management, marketing, and implementation teams, to ensure customer needs are met.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate new contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
- Work to support the Sales Director and the whole Region to achieve all business targets.
- Be a positive representative of Infomedia and its brand within the marketplace.
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development and account management in a SaaS, automotive or eCommerce sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, new business creation and driving revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the sub-region market.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and potentially one Nordic language in both spoken and written form is required.
