We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our small but mighty marketing team and play a leading role in growing the Staff Skills academy+ brand.
This is a highly hands-on, commercially focused role. You’ll own campaign execution across email, launches, onboarding, reactivation, LinkedIn and supporting channels - with a strong emphasis on lead quality, nurture depth and pipeline contribution.
You’ll also dedicate time to improving industry-specific nurture journeys and outreach, ensuring our messaging resonates deeply with HR and L&D decision-makers.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing, Sales and Creative teams to deliver measurable impact in a fast-paced B2B SaaS-style environment.
Key responsibilities
Campaigns and strategy:
- Own execution of multi-channel campaigns, including launches, onboarding, reactivation and database growth initiatives.
- Build industry-specific email workflows aligned to ICP segments.
- Improve lead-to-MQL and MQL-to-SQL conversion through smarter segmentation and automation.
- Continuously test messaging, subject lines, cadence and CTAs to improve engagement and conversion rates.
LinkedIn growth and paid optimisation:
- Support and optimise LinkedIn Ads campaigns targeting HR and L&D decision-makers.
- Strengthen retargeting strategies and audience segmentation.
- Improve landing page performance and conversion rates (CRO).
- Conduct A/B testing across ads, forms, messaging and CTAs.
Partnerships and events
- Identify and support growth opportunities through partnerships, associations and events.
- Assist in planning and executing industry event attendance.
- Explore partnership opportunities to grow our B2B database.
Reporting and optimisation:
- Analyse campaign performance, track ROI, and share actionable insights.
- Continuously improve activity through testing, feedback, and data-driven decisions.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong HubSpot experience (email automation, workflows, reporting, CRM integration).
- Proven B2B marketing experience.
- Experience working in a small team or company.
- Hands-on campaign execution experience (not purely strategic).
Essential Skills and experience
- 4+ years’ experience in a B2B SaS marketing role.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for HR and business audiences.
- Experience running and reporting on LinkedIn paid campaigns and a good understanding of PPC best practices (Google Ads or similar).
- Confident in creating, testing, and analysing email workflows and automations.
- Comfortable using data to make marketing decisions.
- Experience managing or working alongside agencies/partners and evaluating performance.
Desirable
- Experience in eLearning or subscription-based businesses.
- Exposure to account-based marketing.
- Experience supporting event marketing or partnership growth.
- Familiarity with longer B2B sales cycles and nurture-heavy funnels.
- Experience supporting PPC campaigns in Google Ads.
- Understanding of SEO tools and how they inform wider marketing decisions.
