About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator / Document Controller to join our client in Birmingham. This is a varied role supporting multiple business functions, including project administration and document control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant.
  • Controlling the distribution, filing, and archiving of project and company documents.
  • Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as required.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, site teams, and internal departments to ensure information is communicated effectively.
  • Maintaining electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
  • Providing general administrative support to senior management and operational teams.
  • Assisting with office management duties and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Administrator, Document Control or role.
  • Experience within construction, civils, engineering, rail, or infrastructure sectors is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using document management systems is advantageous.
