About Us: We are a leading organisation specialising in providing workforce solutions for the construction, infrastructure, and civil sectors. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role will involve managing both payroll for services (internal workforce) and payroll of services (external contractors and service providers). Key Responsibilities:. Payroll of Services: Process payroll for external contractors and subcontractors, including managing various payment structures and schedules. Handle invoices, timesheets, and tax compliance for outsourced services. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and external parties to ensure smooth payroll operations for service agreements. Maintain accurate records of all payroll transactions. Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing data. Prepare and submit payroll reports to senior management. Respond to employee and contractor enquiries regarding payroll issues in a timely and professional manner. Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and ensure compliance at all times. Ensure compliance to Working Rule Agreement (WRA) and relevant guidelines including the CIJC and NAECI rules and requirements. Requirements: Proven experience, minimum 3 years, as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar payroll processing role. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Experience managing both internal employee payroll and external service provider payroll. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance related to payroll. Understanding and application of the Working Rule Agreement (WRA) for the construction industry Construction Industry Joint Council (CIJC) Rules & Requirements – Payroll under these terms and conditions. National Agreement for the Engineering Construction Industry (NAECI) – Rules & Requirements – Payroll under these terms and conditions. Shift patterns, travel, allowances and application of pay. TU Representatives requirements related to payroll. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
