Project

Overview: Kier BAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall.

We are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth

Eligibility criteria: Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO, or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.

Security clearance can take up to 8 weeks

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming works, commercial performance, and the effective utilisation of resources to meet those programmes.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Take full ownership and accountability for profit and loss in the project, ensuring robust control of target costs and actual costs.

Including financial forecasts, forecast reviews, final cost & value reviews with the commercial team.

  • Ensure all labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with the specification.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree)
  • SSSTS/SMSTS
  • May be working towards Chartership/Incorporation with IStruct E, ICE or other appropriate professional body.
  • Prior experience working with reinforced concrete, groundworks and civils is essential
  • Familiar in Leica Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical & digital levels) for Setting Out & Survey
  • Able to take the lead with client interfaces and manage project delivery on technical and business aspects of team outputs, including excellent communication and project management, leading and managing technical teams within a competitive business environment.
  • Experience in similar role.
  • Awareness of commercial processes.
  • Familiar with Quality Management System and familiar in writing RAMS.
  • Proven people and project management skills.
  • Team leader with organisational skills
