About the role
We are seeking an experienced recruiter to join our friendly and collaborative HR team to manage the recruitment at InFocus Charity. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively sourcing and attracting new employees to fill vacancy gaps within the organisation using various platforms from open days, jobs boards and attending job fairs. You will be the main point of contact for potential candidates, so building a good rapport and maintaining continuous contact from day one and throughout the recruitment process is vital to providing the best candidate experience, ensuring a seamless recruitment process while following safer recruitment procedures.
You’ll provide face-to-face, email and phone-based support to managers and candidates on a whole range of queries from new vacancies, advertising options, ensuring applications are fully completed before forwarding to recruiting managers, setting up interviews, processing right to work checks, creating contracts and new starter onboarding communications.
This role also plays a key part in organising and delivering our bespoke induction programme for all new employees, in collaboration with the training team. You will also be responsible for scheduling check-in meetings with new employees during their initial period of employment, helping to ensure a smooth and supportive transition into the organisation. You will be supported with all recruitment administrative duties by our Recruitment Assistant.
About you
This is a busy, varied role and one that would suit someone who thrives in a stimulating work environment and enjoys interacting with others and achieving great outcomes through providing an efficient and effective service. This role may suit someone with recruitment experience within a recruitment agency who may wish to move into an in-house position.
Working pattern
This role is advertised as working 30 hours per week, there is some degree of flexibility on how these hours can be worked across the week (Monday to Friday). Please be advised that this is an office-based position.
