We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our Windows-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in system administration, user support, security configuration, and performance tuning in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers (2012/2016/2019/2022).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.
- Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Perform system monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues on Windows platforms.
- Apply security patches and system updates regularly to maintain system integrity.
- Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and configurations.
- Support virtualization environments (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
- Collaborate with network, application, and security teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage and monitor Windows-based applications and services (IIS, SQL Server, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Windows System Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions.
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (or similar).
- Experience with Office 365, Exchange, and Azure Active Directory.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
- Experience in managing SCCM, WSUS, and other deployment tools.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid / On-site depending on business needs.
- Must be available for on-call support and after-hours maintenance when necessary.
