We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux System Administrator to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Linux-based infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure system stability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Maintain system security by applying patches and updates regularly
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Automate routine tasks using shell scripts or configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
  • Monitor system logs and respond to incidents or performance issues
  • Collaborate with development and network teams to support CI/CD pipelines and production environments
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
  • Ensure system uptime and reliability according to SLAs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in Linux administration
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
  • Experience with web servers (Apache, NGINX), database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
