Overview
Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, recovery workers, managers, and allied health colleagues to ensure a multidisciplinary approach and facilitate safe and positive outcomes for service users. Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users to determine appropriate treatment plans, including opiate substitute prescribing and alcohol detoxification. Prescribe and review medication, including opiate substitutes and alcohol detox medications, following best practices guidelines. Offer health and wellbeing interventions, providing guidance and support tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, recovery workers, managers, and allied health colleagues to ensure a multidisciplinary approach and facilitate safe and positive outcomes for service users.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users to determine appropriate treatment plans, including opiate substitute prescribing and alcohol detoxification.
- Prescribe and review medication, including opiate substitutes and alcohol detox medications, following best practices guidelines.
- Offer health and wellbeing interventions, providing guidance and support tailored to individual needs.
- Facilitate BBV screening and vaccinations, contributing to the overall health improvement of service users.
- Contribute to the review of serious incident investigations, providing expertise and insights to enhance learning and improve practice.
