We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology department and drive innovation across the organization. The CTO will be responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business goals, overseeing system architecture, guiding product development, managing teams, and ensuring the security and scalability of all tech platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the companys technology vision, roadmap, and execution plan.
Align technology initiatives with short- and long-term business goals.
Advise the CEO and executive team on technology-related opportunities and risks.
Team Management & Development
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering, DevOps, and IT team.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Oversee product engineering, architecture, UX/UI, and software development lifecycle.
Ensure timely delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable products and platforms.
Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
Cybersecurity & Infrastructure
Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Oversee infrastructure and cloud environments, disaster recovery, and risk management.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
Represent the technology team in board meetings, investor pitches, and partner discussions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of technology leadership experience, with 3+ years in a senior executive role (CTO, VP of Engineering, etc.).
Proven experience in software architecture, cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, and modern tech stacks.
Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
Prior startup or scale-up experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with data analytics, AI/ML, or blockchain technologies.
Experience with fundraising and working with investors (for startups).
Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset.
