Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement network security solutions, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks.
- Deploy and manage SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) for monitoring and log analysis.
- Lead incident response efforts to mitigate breaches and minimize damage.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to integrate cloud security controls.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of threat intelligence and evolving cyber risks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a related role (SOC Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer).
- Expertise in network security, encryption, IAM, and endpoint protection.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of security automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Strong background in incident response and forensic analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
