As we continue to expand across Europe, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our commercial efforts across the United Kingdom and Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg).

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing sales of our dewatering equipment and solutions across the UK and Benelux region. This role is ideal for a proactive, technically minded sales professional with a background in environmental, process, or mechanical equipment sales, and a strong network in municipal or industrial wastewater sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Territory Management
    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet revenue targets across the UK and Benelux.
    • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities in both municipal and industrial markets.
    • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, OEMs, consultants, and engineering contractors.
  • Technical Sales & Solution Design
    • Provide technical expertise and consultative support during the sales process.
    • Work with clients to assess sludge treatment needs and propose tailored dewatering solutions (screw press, filter press, etc.).
    • Prepare and deliver quotes, tenders, and detailed proposals with assistance from application engineers.
  • Project and Account Management
    • Support customers through the entire sales cycle: from first contact and specification to installation support and aftersales coordination.
    • Monitor large project opportunities (e.g., framework agreements, infrastructure investments, plant upgrades).
    • Ensure clear communication with internal stakeholders regarding project timelines, supply chain needs, and service support.
  • Market Development & Intelligence
    • Attend industry trade shows, technical seminars, and customer events to promote brand visibility.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes (e.g., sludge disposal legislation, environmental compliance) and market trends.
    • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to influence future innovations and product improvements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales within wastewater treatment, industrial equipment, or environmental engineering.
    • Proven track record selling capital equipment or turnkey systems, preferably related to sludge dewatering or solids separation.
    • Strong understanding of dewatering technologies (screw presses, filter presses, belt presses, etc.) and their applications.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dutch, French, or German is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK and Benelux.
