Are you ready to play a pivotal role in one of the fastest-growing sectors in mission-critical infrastructure? Influx Search is partnered with a global provider of advanced water filtration and treatment solutions, supporting high-performance cooling systems across industrial and data centre environments. With a strong international footprint and a reputation for technical excellence, this business works closely with leading operators, engineers and developers to improve efficiency, resilience and sustainability in critical cooling applications.

As part of continued growth across Europe, we are now seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead commercial activity within the data centre sector across EMEA.

What’s the role?

As Sales Manager EMEA for Data Centres, you will take ownership of the commercial strategy across one of the most strategically important verticals within the organisation. Acting as a trusted technical and commercial partner, you will work closely with hyperscalers, colocation providers, data centre developers, EPCs and mechanical contractors to support the specification and deployment of advanced water filtration solutions for cooling systems. Operating within a matrixed international sales organisation, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product management and regional sales teams to tailor solutions that reduce downtime, optimise cooling performance and support customers’ long-term sustainability and ESG objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a sales strategy for data centre and industrial cooling applications across Europe.
  • Building and managing relationships with key accounts, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, EPCs and consultants.
  • Leading complex, consultative sales cycles from early-stage specification through to commercial negotiation and project delivery.
  • Working cross-functionally with engineering, operations and marketing to support solution design and execution.
  • Expanding market presence through strategic account development and selected channel partners.
  • Representing the business at relevant industry events, exhibitions and customer forums.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management, forecasting and reporting through CRM tools.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies within the data centre ecosystem.

This is a highly visible, externally focused role with regular travel across Europe, typically around 50%.

What’s on offer?

You will be joining a globally established organisation with a strong technical heritage and a growing presence within the data centre market. The role offers a high level of autonomy, the opportunity to shape a critical growth vertical, and exposure to some of the most advanced data centre projects across the region. Long-term career development is supported within a collaborative and forward-thinking international team.

What are we looking for?

This role will suit a commercially driven sales professional with strong technical understanding and proven experience operating in complex, project-led environments. We are ideally looking for:

  • A strong track record in technical or solution-based sales, ideally within data centres, cooling systems, water treatment or HVAC-related industries.
  • Solid understanding of cooling tower operation, industrial filtration technologies and value-based selling using ROI and TCO models.
  • Experience engaging with data centre operators, developers, EPCs, OEMs or mechanical contractors.
  • Proven ability to manage long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Experience working with channel partners, distributors or representative networks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging at engineering and executive level.
  • A degree in Engineering, Business or a related technical discipline.
  • An MBA or advanced commercial qualification is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
