Influentials is expanding into the UK. We’re looking for the person who can put us on the map by opening doors, building senior relationships and turning those relationships into meaningful business. We are looking for a UK Commercial Director who knows the British media and advertising ecosystem inside out – and, more importantly, is already part of it. Someone who can introduce Influentials to the agencies, platforms and brands that matter.

If you have built your career at a major media or advertising agency, or at a platform such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn or Google/YouTube, this could be an opportunity to use everything you’ve built – your network, commercial experience and market knowledge – to build something of your own.

About Influentials

Influentials is a creator marketing platform and managed service built to help brands scale creator content. Today, more than 13,000 creators are directly connected and verified on our platform. Our technology brings creator discovery, campaign management, content review and reporting together in one system, while our team can manage the complete process from briefing to delivery. Rather than simply providing access to creator data, we provide brands with direct access to creators and the infrastructure to activate them at scale. Our next step is international. The UK is one of our first priority markets. And we’re looking for the person to lead that commercial expansion locally.

Your mission

Your mission is to build Influentials’ commercial presence in the UK from the ground up. You’ll become our senior commercial face in the market. Your focus will be on three groups:

  • Major agencies: Build strategic relationships with leading media and advertising agencies and create partnerships that can unlock multiple brands and campaigns.
  • Enterprise brands: Introduce Influentials to senior marketers at major UK and international brands and turn those relationships into long-term creator partnerships.
  • Platforms: Build relationships and strategic partnerships with organisations such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snap, Google/YouTube and Pinterest.

What you’ll do

You’ll:

  • Introduce Influentials to senior decision-makers across the UK market.
  • Build relationships with leading agency groups and independents.
  • Open enterprise brand accounts.
  • Develop strategic platform partnerships.
  • Build and own the UK commercial pipeline.
  • Personally lead pitches and commercial negotiations.
  • Win recurring business, asset packages and retainers.
  • Represent Influentials at relevant UK industry events.
  • Bring local market intelligence back into the organisation.
  • Work closely with our central team on proposition and growth.
  • Help shape our UK strategy as we learn and scale.
  • Eventually help build the UK team as the market grows.

Who we’re looking for

You are probably already well established within the UK media and advertising ecosystem. You may currently work – or have previously worked – at a major social or technology platform; a leading media agency; an advertising group; a social or digital agency; a relevant media or adtech business. Your exact title matters less than your relationships and track record.

What matters most

  • You have genuine senior market access.
  • You already know senior people within UK agencies and/or enterprise brands.
  • You can turn relationships into revenue.
  • You’re entrepreneurial.
  • You’re hands-on.
  • You understand the ecosystem.

What you don’t need

You do not need to be an influencer marketing specialist. What matters is your ability to get Influentials into the right rooms – and turn those conversations into partnerships.

Why join now?

This isn’t a role where everything has already been built. The technology exists. The proposition exists. The creator network exists. The central campaign and support organisation exists. What we need now is the person who can unlock the UK market. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how Influentials enters the UK, which partnerships we build, which clients we pursue and, ultimately, what the local organisation becomes.

As the business scales, we see the potential for this role to develop beyond commercial leadership towards broader UK market leadership.

The question

There’s one question that probably tells both you and us whether this role is right: If you joined Influentials tomorrow, which 20 senior people across UK agencies and brands would take your call? If a list immediately comes to mind, we’d like to meet you.
