Location: London

Reporting of the role: This role reports to Director, Commerce (EMEA) and line-manages the Commerce delivery team (Senior Account Manager, Senior Account Executive and Affiliate Community Manager).

Overview of the job: As Senior Account Director, Commerce, you are the senior leader for our Social Commerce & Affiliate offering across EMEA – accountable for both the standard of client delivery and the development of the team that delivers it. You lead and line-manage the Commerce delivery team, set the bar for delivery quality, client satisfaction and retention across the portfolio, and act as a senior client partner on our most important accounts. You are a key partner to the Commercial team on pitches and growth, bringing operational, strategic, costing, timeline and feasibility input, and you own commerce delivery standards end to end – from performance strategy through to reporting and optimisation. You work alongside Client Services to deliver one unified, best-in-class client experience.

This role requires deep, demonstrable TikTok Shop and affiliate expertise, strong commercial judgement, and proven people leadership – someone who raises standards through their team, not just their own accounts.

3 best things about the job:

  • Lead and grow a high-performing team.
  • Own client strategy across culture and conversion.
  • Shape the offering and win new business.

Measures of success - in the first few months, you will have:

  • Embedded into the EMEA Commerce team and built strong working relationships across Client Services, Creative Operations, Commercial and Paid Media.
  • Taken line-management responsibility for the Commerce delivery team, with clear development plans and ways of working in place.
  • Developed a clear command of Influencer's Commerce & Affiliate framework, creator tiers and cross-platform commerce ecosystem (affiliate networks, TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, Meta Commerce).
  • Established consistent delivery, quality and reporting standards across the Commerce portfolio.
  • Shaped the Social Commerce & Affiliate product offering and supported the Sales team on at least one live pitch or client response.
  • Supported the Commercial team on at least one live pitch or growth opportunity, providing costing, timeline and feasibility input.
  • Build confidence in how the Commerce product drives measurable outcomes – GMV, AOV and ROAS – across the portfolio.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Lead and line-manage the Commerce delivery team (Account Director, Senior Account Manager and Senior Account Executive), ensuring consistently high standards of delivery, strong client satisfaction and long-term client retention.
  • Act as a senior partner to clients, maintaining exceptional service standards across all workstreams.
  • Own the Social Commerce & Affiliate delivery standard across the portfolio – performance strategy, delivery, analysis, reporting and optimisation.
  • Support the Commercial team on pitches and growth opportunities, providing operational, strategic, costing, timeline and feasibility input on proposed campaign approaches and creative ideas.
  • Set the TikTok Shop strategy and oversee execution across creator, seller and live shopping across the team's accounts.
  • Own senior relationships across TikTok Shop and affiliate networks (Impact, Awin, CJ, Rakuten, Partnerize) and social commerce platforms (ShopMy, Meta Commerce, YouTube Shopping).
  • Maintain oversight of campaign delivery standards, supporting escalation management where required across timelines, budgets, scope or client concerns.
  • Be highly immersed in Influencer's product and operational ecosystem, proactively contributing ideas and feedback to improve internal systems, workflows, reporting capabilities and overall business efficiency.
  • Be a commerce-confident presence in front of clients, able to speak credibly across paid media and the wider performance strategy, not just organic social commerce and affiliate.
  • Act as the commerce and affiliate SME across the business, a trusted resource that Client Services, Commercial and Creative Operations rely on for briefs, pitches and delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive and solutions-oriented team culture through strong communication, approachability and leadership by example.
  • Ensure quality, profitability and operational rigour across the portfolio, managing campaigns through Waves.

What you will need:

  • 8+ years' experience in social commerce, affiliate and/or influencer performance (agency or brand side) with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes.
  • Proven people leadership – line-managing, developing and getting the best from a delivery team.
  • Deep, demonstrable knowledge of TikTok Shop (creator, seller and live shopping).
  • Experience with affiliate networks (Awin, Impact, Partnerize etc.).
  • Commercially fluent: comfortable owning and reporting on GMV, AOV, CPA, CAC and ROAS.
  • Experience owning client strategy and delivery for commerce or performance products across a portfolio.
  • Client-facing gravitas – confident presenting strategy and results to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting pitches and new business, including costing, timeline and feasibility input.
  • Strong operational judgement – escalation management across timelines, budgets, scope and client concerns.
  • Calm, organised and solutions-oriented, leading by example.

A few of our core benefits:

  • Private Healthcare through Vitality.
  • Wellbeing support through Vitality including EAP & Mental Health cover.
  • 25 days of Annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays which can be flexed to your needs).
