Overview of the job: As Associate Creative Strategy Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and selling creator-first strategic thinking that drives exceptional work for some of the world's leading brands. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, creativity, culture, and creators, you'll lead the development of insight-led responses to client challenges, turning complex business objectives into platform-native creative solutions that audiences want to engage with, creators are excited to make, and clients are eager to buy. This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic thinker with a creative soul. You'll inspire teams, elevate creative output, and champion the role creators play in building meaningful connections between brands and consumers across social platforms.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of insight-led, creator-first strategic responses to client briefs, pitches, and proactive opportunities.
  • Translate complex brand and business challenges into clear strategic narratives and platform-native creative opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Client Services, Media, and Talent teams to develop integrated campaign solutions.
  • Facilitate strategy, ideation, and creative workshops internally and with clients to unlock innovative thinking.
  • Mentor and support junior strategists, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and strategic excellence.
  • Present strategic recommendations and creative concepts confidently to senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Stay at the forefront of social, creator, platform, and cultural trends, identifying opportunities that drive innovation and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Influencer's strategic offering, methodologies, and thought leadership.

What you will need:

  • 5–7 years' experience in a Strategy, Creative Strategy, or similar role within a creative, digital, social-first, or creator-focused agency.
  • A creator-first mindset, with a deep understanding of creator culture, social platforms, and what drives meaningful audience engagement.
  • Proven experience developing and selling creative strategy that balances brand objectives, audience insights, and platform behaviours.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior clients.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, strategic planning sessions, and collaborative ideation processes.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with confidence presenting complex ideas in a compelling way.
  • A proactive, highly organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive momentum across projects.
  • The ability to think both strategically and tactically, moving seamlessly between big-picture narratives and executional detail.
