Reporting of the role: This role reports to Director, Commerce.
Overview of the job: We are looking for an Affiliate Operations Manager to own the infrastructure layer of our affiliate and social commerce capability. Sitting within the Commerce team and reporting directly to the Director of Commerce, this is a strategic individual contributor role responsible for designing, building, and scaling the operational foundations that power our clients' affiliate programmes. You will work closely with dedicated teammates across our Commerce team, including functions focused on community and partner relationships, and full-funnel performance and growth, ensuring each discipline is tightly integrated without overlap. While your colleagues own their respective domains, you own the platform infrastructure, technical configuration, and operational systems that make it all run.
3 best things about the job:
- Architect the infrastructure behind a new Commerce division. This isn't a maintenance role – you'll design and build the operational systems, platform configurations, and affiliate frameworks that power Influencer's standalone Commerce P&L from the ground up.
- Own the full stack of modern affiliate commerce from traditional affiliate networks to TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, and Meta Commerce, you'll sit at the center of a fully integrated, creator-led performance ecosystem – operating across every major platform where commerce is happening right now.
- Drive real revenue impact for the world's leading brands. You'll build and manage the technical and operational infrastructure behind enterprise-scale affiliate programmes, ensuring creator-led commerce runs seamlessly, efficiently, and at scale for some of the most recognized brands globally.
Measures of success - in the first few months, you will have:
- Embedded into the EMEA Commerce team and built strong working relationships across Client Services, Strategy, Growth, Finance and Performance.
- Developed a clear understanding of Influencer’s Commerce & Affiliate framework, creator tiers, and cross-platform commerce ecosystem (affiliate networks, TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, Meta Commerce).
- Gained hands-on familiarity with our core platforms and tools including Impact, CJ, Rakuten, TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, Meta Commerce and internal reporting systems.
- Completed a structured audit of at least one active affiliate or commerce programme to understand current setup, tracking, and operational workflows.
- Supported the activation or optimization of a live programme, contributing directly to a seamless client-facing execution.
- Built confidence in how Influencer’s Commerce engine operations and how your role underpins enterprise-level delivery.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Own the operational management of affiliate and social commerce platforms including Impact, CJ, Rakuten, Awin, TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, and Meta Commerce.
- Lead merchant onboarding, product feed integrations, tracking setup, and backend configuration across all commerce environments.
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure across affiliate networks and platform-native commerce environments, ensuring clean and consistent programme architecture.
- Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and commission implementation – proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies before they affect client outcomes.
- Own commission structures, offer configurations, and incentive mechanics, collaborating with Strategy to translate commercial intent into precise platform execution.
- Support the seamless activation of newly sold commerce programmes, converting commercial scope into scalable, well-documented technical setups.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with affiliate networks and platform representatives to troubleshoot issues, surface efficiencies, and stay ahead of platform developments.
- Partner cross-functionally with Client Services, Performance, Growth and Finance to protect margin, ensure reporting accuracy, and support enterprise delivery.
- Lead the development and ongoing evolution of operational playbooks, templates, and documentation that scale our affiliate engine across clients and programmes.
- Serve as the internal authority on affiliate platform capability – advising on new integrations, tooling decisions, and infrastructure best practice.
What you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in affiliate, ecommerce, performance marketing, or social commerce operations.
- Hands-on experience managing affiliate networks such as Impact, CJ, Rakuten, Awin, or similar.
- Direct exposure to platform-native commerce environments (e.g. TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, Meta Commerce), preferably including merchant setup or backend operations.
- Strong understanding of tracking, attribution, pixel implementation, and commission structures.
- Experience working within DTC brands, affiliate agencies, social commerce teams, or platform-side commerce operations.
- A systems mindset — able to design scalable infrastructure and repeatable workflows rather than operating tactically.
- Confidence operating as a senior individual contributor: owning your domain, making decisions, and delivering without requiring constant direction.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple platforms simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical setups into clear language for non-technical stakeholders.
A few of our core benefits:
- Private Healthcare & Pension - Full medical coverage and pension scheme.
- 25 Days Annual Leave - Plus public holidays, end-of-year closure, and your birthday off.
- Hybrid & Flexible Working - Work from home 2 days/week with flexible hours (core hours 10am-4pm), plus work from anywhere up to 4 weeks per year.
- Enhanced Parental Leave - 12 weeks full pay for Maternity Leave and 4 weeks full pay for Paternity Leave.
- Learning & Development - Dedicated resources for career growth plus Employee Assistance Programme for wellbeing support.
