Reporting of the role: Reporting to the global CFO, this role works closely with their US counterpart, People Operations Director, Chief Revenue Office, and regional leadership across Europe and MENA.

Overview of the job: As People Director, Europe & MENA, you'll play a key role in delivering Influencer's people agenda across both Europe and MENA regions, ensuring a consistent, high-quality employee experience while balancing global alignment with local market needs and priorities. As Influencer continues to evolve its operating model and global footprint, you'll be responsible for driving the execution of our people roadmap, embedding scalable practices, and helping build a high-performing, engaged workforce. Working closely with the wider People team, you'll strengthen our culture, values, systems and processes so they support sustainable growth and remain inclusive by design. You'll champion a global mindset, helping shape Influencer as a great place to work across all regions. Measures of success – in the first few months, you would have:

  • Established strong relationships with the Europe and MENA Leadership teams, and key stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on all people matters.
  • Built a strong understanding of current people processes, systems, employee feedback and existing strategic priorities, identifying opportunities to further enhance and optimise the people experience.
  • Taken ownership of the existing people roadmap, refining and evolving priorities where appropriate, while ensuring delivery remains aligned to Influencer's growth plans and business objectives.
  • Built rapport with your direct reports (Europe and MENA BPs and Talent Acquisition Director) and assessed team capabilities and development needs.
  • Implemented at least one high-impact initiative that demonstrably improves employee experience or engagement across regions.
  • Contributed fresh thinking and practical improvements that build upon the foundations already established, helping further shape the future direction of the People function.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Strategic People Leadership: Drive the delivery of Influencer's people strategy and roadmap, ensuring initiatives remain aligned to business objectives, global growth plans, and evolving organisational needs. In partnership with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and in support of both the CRO and CEO you will translate people strategy into actionable regional priorities, ensure consistency of experience, alignment of priorities and sharing of best practice across regions. Champion our culture, ensuring it evolves with scale while staying true to our values. Act as a trusted advisor to the ELT on people, talent, culture, and organisational design.
  • Employee Lifecycle & Experience: Own the full employee lifecycle – from attraction and onboarding, to performance and progression, to offboarding and alumni engagement. Build a people experience that drives high engagement and industry-leading eNPS. Lead initiatives that position Influencer as an employer of choice, strengthening Glassdoor and external perception. Oversee the design and delivery of hyper efficient learning and development programmes to support career growth. Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI and people technology to streamline processes and enhance the employee experience, whilst maintaining a human-centred approach to people practices.
  • Talent & Organisational Growth: Lead Talent Acquisition for Europe and MENA, ensuring we hire and retain the best and right (aligned with our values) talent across our offices. Build scalable organisational structures in partnership with the global CFO to support continued growth and operational evolution across regions, balancing speed with sustainable growth. Drive succession planning, leadership development, and internal mobility. Oversee compensation benchmarking and pay strategies to remain competitive and equitable.
  • Performance & Development: Simplify and enhance performance management frameworks, enabling managers to lead with efficiency and accountability. Partner with leadership to build out simple and succinct career frameworks, pathways, and recognition programmes. Drive low lift adoption of learning systems, manager enablement, and leadership coaching.
  • Culture, Engagement & DEI: Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion across all policies, processes, and behaviours. Champion initiatives that foster belonging, creativity, and well-being. Actively measure and act upon employee sentiment through tools such as Hibob and Bonusly. Champion a global mindset and support Influencer's ambition to be a great place to work across all regions and markets, ensuring our culture scales consistently across regions.
  • People Operations & Systems: Lead the Europe & MENA People function whilst partnering closely with global People leaders to deliver a joined-up and scalable employee experience. Optimise the people tech stack (Hibob, Teamtailor, Guru, FutureProof, Ninety, Ravio, Zinc & Bonusly) for seamless employee experience. Champion continuous improvement of People systems, workflows, automation and reporting capabilities to improve operational efficiency and decision-making. Ensure compliance with local employment law and regulatory requirements across all Europe and MENA regions.

What you will need:

  • Proven senior people leadership experience in a high-growth business (digital media, technology or marketing preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in building people functions.
  • Experience leading teams across HRBP, L&D, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Deep expertise in employee engagement, culture-building, and organisational development.
  • Commercial mindset – balancing people priorities with business objectives.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing at the highest levels.
  • Strong familiarity with UK, and German employment law.
  • Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a human-led approach to leadership.
  • Experience evolving people platforms, processes, and policies for scale.
