The Role: Influence is looking for a proactive, creative and highly motivated Social Media Manager to join its content team. The chosen candidate will manage and elevate social channels for key sailing and motorsport clients, owning the development and delivery of innovative strategies that educate, engage and drive awareness among global audiences, with a particular focus on the GCC region. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with an understanding of the digital landscape and a strong grasp of challenger and start‑up brands. They will have a proven track record of delivering impactful social media campaigns in fast‑paced, high‑profile environments. This is an exciting opportunity for someone comfortable taking initiative and ownership to help drive growth, performance and cultural relevance across social platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage social media strategies aligned with wider marketing and communications objectives
- Create, edit and schedule high‑quality content across Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Own community management across key platforms
- Monitor trends, sentiment and performance to inform and deliver clear analytics and reporting
- Coordinate meetings, shoots and content edits with internal and external partners
- Attend industry events when required to capture content for digital channels
- Deliver clear, compelling copywriting across all social outputs
- Collaborate closely with Senior Creative Producer
Requirements:
- Relevant professional experience managing social media for a luxury brand or sports organisation
- A genuine passion for sports, particularly sailing and motorsport
- Knowledge of content production with strong editing and proofing skills
- Understanding of the evolving media landscape with experience of, or interest in developing expertise in, the GCC region
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator) and tools such as Canva
- Understanding of social analytics and performance marketing
- Experience producing and managing content shoots
- Proven experience with ultra‑high net worth audiences
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required
- Valid driving license and passport
- Fluent English speaker: Arabic language skills are a bonus
