INflow Federal is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to support our Navy program. NNSY’s mission is to safely return warships to the Fleet on time and within budget. In this role, you will support the administration, maintenance, and operation of SharePoint Server environments. This role supports enterprise collaboration and content management capabilities through secure, reliable SharePoint On-Premises and hybrid environments. Job Responsibilities
- Configuring, managing, and maintaining SharePoint Server (2016/2019) environments.
- Administering web applications, site collections, content databases, and service applications.
- Managing user permissions, Active Directory group integration, and SharePoint security policies.
- Implementing and maintaining governance policies, backup and recovery plans, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Administering and optimizing Central Administration, Search Service Application, User Profile Service, and Managed Metadata Services.
- Supporting and managing migrations between SharePoint On-Premises and SharePoint Online using tools such as SPMT, ShareGate, or Metalogix.
- Performing routine system health checks and applying patches, Cumulative Updates (CUs), and Service Packs (SPs).
- Monitoring system performance, reviewing logs, and responding to alerts or issues affecting SharePoint availability or performance.
- Collaborating with infrastructure teams to support Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server configurations related to SharePoint.
- Investigating and resolving SharePoint errors, performance issues, and service disruptions.
- Providing Tier II/III support to end users and site owners for SharePoint-related issues.
- Maintaining documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidance.
- Deploying and configuring custom or third-party SharePoint solutions, features, and web parts.
- Supporting solution lifecycle management across development, test, and production environments.
- Assisting with SharePoint migrations and upgrades between versions or environments.
Required Skills
- Experience configuring, administering, and maintaining SharePoint Server 2016/2019 environments, including web applications, site collections, content databases, and service applications.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint security, including user permissions, Active Directory integration, and security policy enforcement.
- Experience implementing governance, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for SharePoint environments.
- Proven ability to perform system health checks, apply patches, Cumulative Updates (CUs), and Service Packs (SPs).
- Experience monitoring SharePoint performance, reviewing logs, and responding to availability or performance issues.
- Hands-on experience supporting SharePoint migrations and upgrades, including On-Premises to SharePoint Online, using tools such as SPMT, ShareGate, or Metalogix.
- Ability to deploy and support custom or third-party SharePoint solutions across development, test, and production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills providing Tier II/III support and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or IAT Level II certification (Security+ or higher).
- 7 years of SharePoint administration experience.
Desired Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator.
- CompTIA Security+.
Clearance Requirements
DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
