The Director of Professional Services is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the professional services department for the Warehouse Advantage (WA) product. This role involves leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to new and existing customers. The Director of Professional Services plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth through effective service delivery and customer engagement.

You will build and develop a team capable of delivering projects on time and on budget. You will be accountable for the hiring and professional development of all staff for WA in Northern and Southern Europe. You will act as the senior project stakeholder for all WA projects and you will build strong relationships across the customer base.

What a Day In Life Of Looks Like

  • Drive strong billable utilisation while balancing essential non-billable activity across the services team.
  • Plan, forecast and allocate resources (people, budget and tools) to meet delivery targets and support business growth.
  • Maintain accurate financial and utilisation data in NetSuite, ensuring all team members submit time daily.
  • Work with Project Managers and Solution Architects to identify skills gaps and implement training and development plans.
  • Own and continually improve delivery processes, ensuring all projects are delivered to time, budget and quality.
  • Act as the escalation point for project and delivery issues, resolving risks and customer concerns.
  • Support the sales pipeline by providing pre-sales input, demonstrations, solution reviews and delivery estimates.
  • Ensure first-class customer support, owning support processes and acting as the senior escalation point.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team, including performance management, career pathways and recruitment planning.
  • Act as the customer voice to Product Management, influencing the product roadmap through structured feedback and collaboration.

What You Bring To The Team

  • 10+ years of experience in WMS software delivery within the supply chain industry.
  • A proven track-record of successfully building, managing and developing an effective delivery/project team.
  • Track record of achieving service’s budget.
  • Excellent and engaging presentation skills.
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving culture.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com and NetSuite.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in managing complex projects.
  • Creative problem solver with a willingness to be held to account and engage at an executive level with end customers.
  • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture.
  • Must be proficient at analysing data, building, reporting, and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
