In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams, attending meetings, uncovering pain points, shaping compelling proposals, and using Salesforce CRM to track all activity and maintain accurate customer data. As the customer advocate, you will collaborate across departments to ensure full alignment and support for the Existing Business Account Strategy.
What a day in life looks like:- Deliver revenue and profit margin targets by driving increased order intake from named customers, proactively identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, and consistently progressing deals through the full sales cycle.
- Build and nurture a strong network of executive-level contacts across Operations, Distribution, Finance, and IT, establishing trusted relationships that support long-term account development and create access to strategic decision-makers.
- Develop three-year investment strategies and maintain comprehensive account plans that align customer objectives with Infios solutions, enabling effective planning, informed decision-making, and maximised cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Accurately report sales progress and forecast revenue through disciplined pipeline management, while applying deep solution knowledge to position and differentiate value against competitors.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and relationship management, acting as a reliable advisor who represents customer interests within the business and advocates Infios's propositions confidently to client stakeholders.
- Drive strong customer engagement by encouraging participation in events, strengthening partnerships, and securing high-quality customer references that support new business development and broader organisational growth.
- Proven track record in selling enterprise software solutions within supply chain, logistics, retail, or discrete manufacturing, with a minimum of four years’ account management experience and responsibility for £250,000+ annual spend.
- Strong consultative, solutions-led sales expertise with consistent achievement of sales targets, supported by excellent communication and confident presentation skills.
- Ability to develop executive-level relationships, challenge customer thinking, build compelling commercial cases (ROI, margin analysis, cost justification), and influence strategic direction.
- Solid understanding of warehouse and supply chain operational processes and technologies (ERP, WMS, TMS, OMS), combined with strong business acumen and familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organised self-starter with strong prioritisation skills, disciplined pipeline management, and a growth mindset demonstrated through ongoing personal and professional development.
- Customer-oriented team player with a positive, can-do attitude, a willingness to learn from others, and a passion for improving customer operations through innovative technology.
