Infinityblu Dental Care & Implant Clinic is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic qualified or trainee Dental Nurse to join our lovely Crieff team in the heart of Perthshire. At Infinityblu Crieff, we pride ourselves on the friendly and supportive environment we have created. We aim to support our Dental Nurses in enhancing their careers by encouraging in-house training, including the use of our Trios scanners, implants, Chrome implants, oral surgery, and many other innovative treatments. The support provided by experienced dental nurses within the practice and other Infinityblu sites is invaluable, offering opportunities and career pathways for you to develop and enhance your skills through training. The Job Role:
- Provide chairside assistance, ensuring the correct equipment is available.
- Keep clinical areas, equipment, and instruments clean, tidy, and sterile according to health and safety, infection control procedures, and manufacturers' instructions.
- Use our mouth scanner to enhance the patient experience and accurately record findings in patient notes.
- Prepare necessary materials and instruments.
- Meet and greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed on SOE Exact.
- Continually interpret and respond to the needs of patients and dentists promptly and efficiently.
- Work within our Front of House team to provide excellent customer service.
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure patient comfort.
- Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery.
- Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communication and record transfer.
- Perform other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice β including reception cover when required.
- Undergo training as needed to develop your skills and abilities.
- Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies, CPR, decontamination, and radiology.
- Maintain and enhance nursing competence by actively engaging in continuing professional development (CPD).
