This includes the use of our scanners, Implants, Chrome Implants, and many other innovative treatments and equipment.

Full training apprenticeship will be provided for any successful trainee candidate.

Apprenticeship wage £12.21. Increase applied on qualifying, post qualifications and role. The hours will be 21 hours worked over 3 days.

Salary will be prorated to agreed working hours.

  • The Job Role
  • Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
  • Keep the clinical areas, equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate according to the practice’s health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers' instruction
  • Use our mouth scanner to ensure our patients are given the best experience and record these inpatient notes
  • Prepare the necessary materials and instruments
  • Meet and greet patients with a friendly and professional manner
  • Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed on SOE Exact
  • Continually interpret the needs of the patients and dentist and deal with them promptly and efficiently.
  • Work within our Front of House team to provide excellent customer service
  • Take all reasonable methods to ensure patient comfort
  • Follow all practice policies and procedures.
  • Observe patient confidentiality at all times
  • Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery
  • Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records
  • Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice – Reception cover when required
  • Undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities
  • Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR decontamination and radiology
  • Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct
  • Work at other practice locations from time to time as required
  • Maintain GDC registration
  • To maintain and increase competence in nursing skills by actively following a programme of continuing professional development.
