Role Overview
The Senior Marketing Executive will play a critical role in optimising marketing campaign execution, managing lead generation workflows, and ensuring marketing operations support commercial objectives. This role is ideal for a highly data-driven, strategic, and hands-on marketer who is eager to take ownership of demand generation and continuously improve marketing performance. Working across multi-channel marketing initiatives, the Senior Marketing Executive will focus on campaign execution, performance optimisation, audience targeting, and data-driven decision-making. They will also play a key role in planning and measuring campaign success, ensuring marketing efforts deliver tangible business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution & Demand Generation
- Plan and execute always-on brand awareness campaigns across email, paid social, and organic channels to generate demand and improve conversion rates.
- Own always-on lead generation campaigns, including nurture workflows, audience segmentation, and retargeting strategies.
- Manage campaign schedules and calendars, ensuring activities align with key commercial priorities.
- Optimise digital channel performance by A/B testing content, CTAs, and audience segmentation.
- Support event coordination and lead follow-up strategies to ensure maximum ROI from in-person and virtual events.
- Marketing Automation & Operations
- Own and optimise HubSpot workflows for lead scoring, lead nurturing, and campaign automation.
- Ensure lead management best practices are followed at all times, improving lead quality and conversion rates.
- Work with the Marketing Operations Manager to cleanse, manage, and enrich the marketing database.
- Use CRM insights to refine targeting, audience segmentation, and ensure accurate campaign and channel level attribution.
- Performance Optimisation & Reporting
- Use HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics to track marketing performance and campaign ROI.
- Analyse conversion rates, engagement metrics, and lead-to-revenue progression to identify areas for optimisation.
- Develop and share performance insights to help the marketing team refine messaging, creative, and targeting.
- Work closely with senior members of the team to ensure campaigns align with commercial objectives and revenue targets.
- Strategic Input & Cross-Department Collaboration
- Provide strategic input into marketing strategy and campaign planning to improve efficiency and impact.
- Work closely with Sales, Partnerships, and Demand Generation teams to align marketing efforts with revenue goals.
- Support multi-touch attribution modelling, ensuring marketing impact is accurately tracked across touchpoints.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of marketing processes, ensuring smoother execution and better marketing-sales alignment.
Skills & Experience Required
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing execution role
- Strong campaign management skills, with hands-on experience across email marketing, paid social, and lead nurturing.
- Expert knowledge of marketing automation platforms [HubSpot required] and CRM systems.
- Ability to analyse marketing data and performance metrics to drive strategic decisions.
- Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies, including paid social, email, organic, and event marketing.
- Comfortable working with data-driven marketing models, including lead scoring, conversion tracking, and pipeline attribution.
- Experience collaborating with sales and commercial teams to align marketing activities with revenue generation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present insights to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and continuously optimise marketing performance.
