We are a growing company at the forefront of cutting‑edge defence engineering. We are hiring experienced Systems Engineers to deliver complex, safety‑critical solutions across naval defence, advanced weapon systems, and aerospace platforms. Roles are available on both a contract and permanent basis, offering hybrid and flexible working options.
About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineers to join our growing Defence & Aerospace division. The successful candidate will support the full systems engineering lifecycle, contributing to high‑integrity solutions for next‑generation platforms and mission‑critical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver systems engineering activities across requirements, design, integration, verification and validation.
- Support development of complex mission systems for advanced air platforms.
- Work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams, industry partners, and customer stakeholders.
- Produce high‑quality technical documentation including specifications, interface definitions, and design artefacts.
- Participate in system modelling, trade studies, and performance analysis.
Preferred Backgrounds
- RADAR Systems: Understanding of radar principles; Experience with surveillance, or AESA radar systems.
- F-35: Knowledge of F-35 mission systems, avionics, or integration environments; Experience supporting UK‑specific capabilities, or partner nation interfaces.
- FCAS / Future Combat Air Systems: Exposure to future air capability concepts, advanced sensor fusion, or mission cloud architectures; Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) within next‑generation air programmes.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles (lifecycle management, requirements engineering).
- Experience using tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or similar.
