Salary: Β£141,600 - 141,600 per year
Requirements:
- Strong Systems Engineering background within Defence
- Recent Electronic Warfare (EW) experience
- Experience in Maritime Combat Systems, Radar, Weapons, Countermeasures, or Communications Systems
- Systems integration and interface management experience
- Experience working with multiple engineering stakeholders and suppliers
- Desirable: Royal Navy or Maritime Defence experience
- Desirable: Combat Systems Network integration experience
- Desirable: Alterations & Additions or CIAP process experience
- Desirable: Trials, equipment acceptance, or Design Authority experience
- Must be a Sole UK National and hold current UK SC clearance
Responsibilities:
- Support integration and installation of MEWSIC / EWCM capability
- Work with suppliers, Platform Authorities, and Combat Systems teams
- Manage system interfaces, engineering changes, and integration issues
- Support ECRs, SRD changes, concessions, and acceptance activities
- Review COTS hardware specifications and technical documentation
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and integration challenges

We are Infinity Systems Engineering Ltd, seeking an experienced Maritime Combat Systems Engineer with strong Electronic Warfare experience to support a major UK Defence programme. The role involves supporting the integration and installation of Electronic Warfare capability across Royal Navy platforms and associated land-based sites. This is a contract role, Inside IR35, expected to run approximately from November 2026 to December 2027. The role is predominantly remote, with attendance at MOD Abbey Wood in Bristol approximately one day per fortnight and some travel to other Defence sites.
