Infinity Systems Engineering LTD are looking for an experienced Maritime Combat Systems Engineer with strong Electronic Warfare (EW) experience to support a major UK Defence programme. The role will support the integration and installation of Electronic Warfare capability across Royal Navy platforms and associated land-based sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Support integration and installation of MEWSIC / EWCM capability.
- Work with suppliers, Platform Authorities and Combat Systems teams.
- Manage system interfaces, engineering changes and integration issues.
- Support ECRs, SRD changes, concessions and acceptance activities.
- Review COTS hardware specifications and technical documentation.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies and integration challenges.
Essential Experience
- Strong Systems Engineering background within Defence.
- Recent Electronic Warfare experience.
- Experience within Maritime Combat Systems, Radar, Weapons, Countermeasures or Communications Systems.
- Systems integration and interface management experience.
- Experience working with multiple engineering stakeholders and suppliers.
Desirable
- Royal Navy / Maritime Defence experience.
- Combat Systems Network integration.
- Alterations & Additions / CIAP processes.
- Trials, equipment acceptance or Design Authority experience.
Security
Applicants must be a Sole UK National and hold current UK SC clearance. The role is predominantly remote, with attendance at MOD Abbey Wood, Bristol approximately once every two weeks and some travel to other Defence sites.
