My client is looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join on a full-time employed basis. They are building a reputation across Hampshire for high standards, clean installations, and engineers who take real pride in their work. This role is suited to an engineer who is confident working across a wide range of systems, from residential wall mounted and ducted installations through to larger commercial multi-split and VRF systems.
You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of engineers who work hard, support each other, and take real ownership of the work they produce. They expect a strong work ethic, a professional attitude on site, and pride in doing the job properly. At the same time, my client ensures the environment is right, with good team culture, respect for the trade, and opportunities to grow within the company.
As an experienced engineer within the team, you’ll also work alongside junior engineers and assistants, helping guide them while they assist you on installations and service work. For the right person, there is clear progression available into a Foreman / Lead Engineer role, taking ownership of larger installations and helping shape the future of the team as the company continues to grow.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Installing residential split & multi-split air conditioning systems
- Carrying out installation and commissioning of larger commercial systems including VRF where required
- Servicing, maintaining & fault-finding on a range of air conditioning equipment
- Working independently or as part of a small team on installation projects
- Guiding and supporting junior engineers on site
- Ensuring work areas remain safe, organised & professional
- Communicating clearly with customers and the office when required
What they are Looking For:
- Experience installing air conditioning systems in domestic and commercial environments
- Ability to confidently carry out installations from start to finish
- Experience with multi-split and larger commercial systems preferred
- F-Gas certification (required)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong work ethic, reliability & professionalism
- Comfortable leading jobs and mentoring junior team members
