Location: Mainly office based with the requirement to visit customer sites and potential to work from home on occasions

Full Job Description:

  • Day to Day Management of the Service Department and Engineers
  • Dealing with Customer Enquiries and Requests for Breakdown/Service Call Outs
  • Scheduling Planned Maintenance Activities
  • Conducting Site Surveys, Preparing and Sending Quotes to Customers
  • Supervising New Installation Works
  • Recording and Updating Job Details on Service Software from Initial Job Allocation through to Ready for Invoicing and Handover to our Finance Department
  • Managing Department Health & Safety Requirements including CDM Regulations, RAMS and Site Monitoring Visits
  • Promote and Reinforce the Good Reputation of the Company
  • Identify New Business and Customer Opportunities and Follow Up

About You:

  • Relevant HVAC Qualifications (NVQ, F-GAS)
  • Refrigeration & HVAC Technical Background and Knowledge
  • Proven Service Management Experience
  • Marine, Industrial and Commercial Systems Experience
  • Proven Client Facing Customer Service Experience
  • Leadership and Teamworking Skills
  • Experience in Quote Preparation and Work Scheduling
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Solid Working Knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence
  • Prepared to Travel and Work Away as Required for Short Periods

They are looking for an experienced Refrigeration and AC Service Manager to proactively run and grow their Service Department. You will be responsible for the engineers, scheduling their workload and liaising with customers, ensuring timely responses and effective communications with them to satisfy their needs. The right candidate will have the ability to build trusted relationships with customers, deliver on their promises and support their team. They will also possess the drive to promote and grow this area of the business.
