My client is seeking a highly motivated qualified Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team of service engineers. They are a small family-based design and build company of refrigeration and crop storage equipment of all sizes, mainly on farms all over the UK.
The job role will be varied, consisting of building new units and reconditioning second-hand ones in our workshop based in Lincoln, along with service and repair work on sites around the UK. Most of the equipment is 30KW-250KW DX and Glycol Packs built in-house in Lincoln.
There will be some working away, normally with notice, but occasionally breakdowns are at short notice. However, we do not run an on-call service or night shift working. Weekends are at your own discretion. A vehicle and mobile phone will be provided, along with specialist tools and in-house training for our equipment.
My client is looking for:
- Fully qualified refrigeration engineer
- Level 2 or 3 in refrigeration
- F-GAS certificates
- Self-motivated to work independently and complete jobs and paperwork
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills between management, other employees, and customers
- Good housekeeping of work areas and company property
Advantages but not essential (training can be provided):
- Glycol experience
- A2L experience
