My client are a family-run HVAC business looking for a skilled Senior Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team in order to build a team in Surrey. You'll primarily focus on residential and light commercial installations, with the opportunity — based on your experience and interest — to work on larger commercial HVAC projects.

What you'll be doing:

  • Installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Leading Split installations, with scope to contribute to larger commercial HVAC projects.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults using schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance to keep systems running efficiently and reliably.
  • Keeping accurate records of work carried out, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Ensuring all work meets health & safety regulations and industry standards.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience installing and maintaining air conditioning systems, especially Single-Split, Multi-Split and Sky Air systems; experience in VRV will be considered as an advantage.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment, and understanding the technical aspects from installations to maintenance.
  • Comfortable reading schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools.
  • Working knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to HVAC work.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong customer service skills.
  • Experience in construction or industrial repair environments is a plus, but not essential.

Required licences/certifications:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • F-Gas certification.
