Overview
Fire and Security BDM | £30K-£35K basic salary (OTE £50K). Doncaster based company. Our client is looking to expand their Sales Team and is seeking an intelligent, experienced Business Development Executive to join the sales team. The company is an established NSI Gold accredited provider, specialising in high-end security and fire systems.
Experience in the fire and security industry would be advantageous. This is a great time to join the company as it plans to expand over the next few years. You will generate leads in the UK through cold calling and networking activities, while adhering to sales processes and procedures as per the client’s format. You will attend industry exhibitions and supplier demonstrations on request of the director, staying informed on new industry products.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads in the UK through cold calling and networking activities, adhering to sales processes and procedures.
- Attend industry exhibitions and supplier demonstrations as requested by the director; stay informed on new industry products.
- Turn leads into orders and promote the company at every opportunity; demonstrate products to potential clients.
- Arrange and carry out demonstrations for potential clients; arrange and attend local appointments.
- Report regularly to the Director on the progress of leads, orders, and market intelligence.
- Carry out additional tasks as needed to meet business requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in the fire and security industry would be advantageous.
- Target-driven with a proven ability to generate business from leads.
- Strong communication, networking, and demonstration skills; able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits
Basic annual salary with additional commission based on target achievement; OTE £50K.
