Fire Alarm Service Engineer £36,500-£46,800 doe Full job description Due to continued growth, my clientare looking to expand their team with an Experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to work predominantly on fire alarm system service contracts throughout the Midlands region. About My Client My client are Electrical Contractors specialising in fire alarms and life safety systems. They deliver projects across the education, commercial, industrial, and public sectors. They pride ourselves on being a supportive, close-knit team, offering excellent working conditions, genuine career progression opportunities, and a great atmosphere to work in. Experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer with a strong knowledge of a range of systems? The main responsibilities within this role will include routine servicing, fault finding, repairs, and minor works on a variety of fire alarm systems across the Midlands. While experience with security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms) would be an advantage, it is not essential. You will need to be confident in working independently, delivering high standards of service, and maintaining good relationships with our customers. A good working knowledge of a range of fire alarm panels and systems would be highly beneficial. You will be expected to complete all works in accordance with BS5839:1-2017 standards. Participation in the out-of-hours call-out rota is required — currently operating at a 1 week in 12 rotation. A full driving licence is essential. Typical areas of work include Birmingham, Coventry, Burton, Nottingham, Derby, and Leicester.
