About us

Established in 1999, my client is an expanding commercial and industrial building services and maintenance company with a group turnover approaching £11 million. With over 50 employees, secured framework contracts and continued growth, they are now in a position where they require an additional Commercial Gas Engineer with experience and relevant qualifications covering Lancashire and Greater Manchester areas.

About You

  • Experience conducting diagnostic, service and maintenance.
  • Basic installations to commercial plant, HVAC and mechanical building services.
  • Able to carry out fault finding and repair of commercial plant room equipment, i.e. boilers, pumps, valves, vessels etc.
  • Conduct gas servicing in accordance with manufacturers/industry guidelines.
  • Proficient with boilers, pumps, valves, AHUs, fan coils, pipework, burners, controls etc.
  • Achieve first-time fix targets and minimise return visits.
  • Complete digital job reports and compliance documentation.
  • Oil qualification (OFTEC) would be desirable but not essential.
  • LPG qualification would be desirable but not essential.
  • Ground/Air source heat pumps/systems experience preferred but not essential.
  • Electrical/Controls (BMS) knowledge would be an advantage.

You would be working within facilities such as commercial, corporate, industrial, retail and governmental.
