About My Client
My client are a growing, well-established air conditioning company specialising in commercial and residential installations, servicing, and maintenance. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on a range of air conditioning systems. This role is primarily service and maintenance focused, with occasional minor installation works.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems (split, multi-split, VRV/VRF)
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
- Respond to reactive breakdown calls
- Complete job reports and service documentation accurately
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and customer service
- Communicate professionally with customers and office staff
Requirements
- Proven experience as an air conditioning service & maintenance engineer
- F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
